LEGAL AID
GLIHD provides legal aid services in three different ways:
- Mediation through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
GLIHD attends walk in clients and provides with them legal advice and carries out reconciliation without necessarily taking the matter to courts.
2. Legal representation in courts of Law
GLIHD assists its beneficiaries, especially the vulnerable, to take case to courts on a probono basis and represent them.
GLIHD as well takes up public interest cases through impact litigation.
3. Legal education/ Awareness
GLIHD conducts legal education sessions to its beneficiaries, this is done through training/raising awareness on different laws gazette by the government especially on human rights enshrined in the laws.
